Data Deletion
This page explains how to request deletion of your account and personal data from the Sapphires platform operated by Okeke LLC ("we," "us," or "our").
1. Request deletion by email
Send a deletion request to privacy@okeke.us with the following details so we can locate your account:
- The email address associated with your Sapphires account.
- The business(es) you are a member of, if known.
- If you connected a Facebook account, the Facebook user ID or the email used.
- A short statement that you are requesting deletion of your personal data.
You can also send the request from the address on file under your account so we can verify ownership without additional back-and-forth.
2. What gets deleted
On a verified deletion request we will, within 30 days, remove from our primary systems:
- Your user record — name, email, phone number, password hash, profile photo.
- Trusted-device fingerprints and login session history.
- Encrypted OAuth tokens for any third-party accounts you connected (Microsoft, Google, Facebook, LinkedIn, Stripe, QuickBooks, etc.).
- Personal identifiers in audit logs are pseudonymized; the events themselves are retained for security/audit purposes for up to 12 months and then purged.
Backups are purged on a rolling 90-day window after the primary deletion. We do not delete records we are legally required to retain (e.g. tax records, completed invoices, signed contracts, fraud-prevention records).
3. If you are a business owner
If you own a business account on the platform and want to delete the entire business and all of its operational data — contacts, organizations, contracts, signed documents, inventory, sales records, payments — include "Delete entire business" in your request. We will confirm the destructive scope with you before proceeding so you do not lose data unintentionally.
4. Facebook-user deletion (Meta App Review)
If you logged into Sapphires using Facebook and want us to delete the data we received from Facebook about your account, you have two options:

Facebook data deletionand include the email address on your Facebook account. We will confirm by reply and complete the deletion within 30 days. - Remove the app from Facebook — go to Facebook → Settings & Privacy → Settings → Apps and Websites, find Sapphires, and click Remove. Facebook will then send us an automated deletion callback. We will purge all Facebook-derived data (your Facebook user ID, email if shared, Page IDs you connected, and any access tokens) on receipt and confirm the deletion to Facebook.
Note: removing the app from Facebook revokes our access going forward; it does not by itself delete your Sapphires account. To delete the Sapphires account as well, use the email path in section 1.
5. Timing
We process deletion requests within 30 days. Most are completed within 5 business days. We will reply to your request to confirm receipt and again once deletion is complete.
